Another image reprocessed using the new Elite Porta 800 Film Emulation from Cobalt-Image. The light "bleeding" from the fluorescent lights is particularly visible when the humidity is high, in this case almost 90%.
Every year at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar the modular home company that I am a partner in installs a display of homes for sale . Amazingly we usually sell every one of them during the fair. I hope the high interest rates don't change that this year. Fingers crossed.
Yesterday (Sunday) was the day I went up to look the display over this year. Since I still have serious trouble walking, I rented a motorized scooter to get around the long walking distances. I took it for a spin though the Fun Zone to see what was up, and maybe snap some images. Since I was stuck in the chair I decided to try to use my M11 like it was a Q3. I mounted my VM 28mm Ultron as my only lens. Of course the rub was no AF, but that is not a big deal at 28mm. Just like the Q3 I depended on the 1.3, and 1.8 digital zoom to adjust FL (sort of). This worked out well, and I had a good time with the few images I shot.
Here are a couple, all shot from the scooter while driving around. A unique challenge in choosing point of views.
Going through the tunnel to the race track infield where the house display was set up. Kind of a Close Encounters vibe.
This family was looking up at a crazy ride to see if they would go. They didn't...
This image was taken two minutes before the one I posted near the top of this page, and is also reprocessed using the new Elite Porta 800 Film Emulation from Cobalt-Image.

Nice. This is the 28 I’d like to get. Did you get yours here in Thailand? I’m thinking Leica.bkk and save some money. Usually I get my stuff at Fotofile MBK.
