Sadly yesterday afternoon my son was riding the bike and was stopped for a turn and a large pickup truck didn't see him and hit him at 40mph. They had to back the truck off of him to get him free. He's in a Trauma Unit with 4 broken vertebrae, broken pelvis and tail bone.
Hoping for the best...
This is indeed very sad. Our hopes and thoughts are with him and you.

Words can't begin ... I'm sure. Strong prayers ...
Stopped by the Mission Beach Boardwalk on my way home this afternoon. Jorge is a sculpture artist. He came up to me all excited wwhen he saw my Leica camera. He said he had loved them all his life but could never afford one. He hopped up on the sea wall so I could take a picture of him and send it to him. he was all of something under 5 feet tall, but boiling over with energy and happiness. Of course I oblidged him.

So sorry to read this. Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery.

So so sorry to hear this terrible news. Here's wishing for a speedy recovery.
This month marks 1 year that I have been shooting with the Leica M10 / M10M.
I have no regrets at all and have been fortunate to capture wonderful moments.
