Did you slide across the hood Dukes of Hazard style before you climbed through the window?
Naw, that is more the NASCAR guys style. We were helped in (more like shoved in if it was a driver change during a race like Daytona24 hrs) by crew guys.
I was pretty busy with work the past few months, but also shot a ton in the nearby woods in October. Just getting around to looking at these now, so I'm a season behind the times.
Below is a series with the M240 and 50 Lux ASPH shooting into the sun that I think illustrates its flare characteristics pretty well. The odd veiling flare with the hard horizontal line along the top of some images is just what happens when the sun shines directly in the lens. It's caused by something just outside the sensor area creating a shadow that is cast onto the image area. Probably the edge of the shutter assembly.
These were all RF composed, so was shooting 'blind' to the flare effects that I knew would happen, but just not exactly how. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Late afternoon Skate Boarders and a Mermaid along the Boardwalk in Pacific Beach. This patch of concrete is well known in skate board culture. Back in the day some of the greatest skaters came out of here. Still a strong group skating, developing, and sharing their skills here.
