It was the colors and arrangement of them in that scene along with the dimensional light that attracted me. No dodging or burning needed in this one. I only shot three frames of this scene, and didn't notice the guy in blue in the background while shooting. He only appeared in 1 of the frames. But when I saw the images in LR he made this particular frame the one I liked. Even though he was small and in the background he adds a lot to the image. Blind luck.
I am looking forward to the time that my skills advance to the point that I do take notice of such small details while shooting. I feel as a photographer that we should be responsible for, and include with intent all things in a frame. Until then, I will accept such good fortune with gratitude.

I think I am between 6'4" and 6' 5" these days. It was tight, but I fit OK. Even with a full helmet on. That was when I was younger. The last couple of years I find them pretty uncomfortable for street driving. You really can't go fast enough on the street to be much fun, so I don't own one anymore.
Of course the race cars they used to build custom, and the seat was custom molded so driving position was perfect. But no doors, had to go in and out through the window. !
