I bought the lens from a US buyer and had him send it directly to the CA-based conversion guy: eBay name Jieying - no longer selling conversions alone .
All in all it was not a bad price to pay for a G45 converted to LM. I agree with you re focus sensitivity. If I were repeating the process today I would fork out for the Hawks conversion, though it is super expensive with our now-weak Aussie dollar.
It performed very well on the M8, M9 and my unmodded Sony A7R.

I missed this. Congrats on the new lenses Ron! I've always wanted to try the 50cron rigid...
First one of my images was selected for the Soho juried exhibit at the Soho gallery in New York in July. I also had a piece selected for that gallery and show in 2014. This year there were 1500 entries. My work is also being featured in the next issue of Viewfinder Magazine.
