I've been taking my M8 and 28 1.9 Ultron wherever I go, and this evening, I took the following on my way home. I have a processed color, followed by a BW conversion. Color was processed in Color Efex and Viveza, and I then took this file into Silver Efex Pro 2.

I like those.
Rene, I love that interior.

There is a 28/1.9 LTM cheap at RFF right now. Sweet lens.

Enroute to my trailhead I passed many old farms:

Gero - Loved those M8 shots - I started out with an M8 and it excels at B&W. Apart from certain convenience factors (coding) I don't reckon the M9 has much more performance, apart from full-frame vs APSH naturally.

More great landscapes Charlie, it's always sad to see derelict farms.

Charlie,
another nice set - quelle surprise the earth tones and light in the last one are really nice.

I've been considering the Heliar 15/4.5 III, which would give me 20mm on M8, but I've also stumbled across a very nice opportunity on a very lightly used ZM 18/4 (24mm on M8).

Charlie, I see you shoot your ZM 25 quite a bit - do you find any limitations with it?

Thanks,
Gero

The ZM18 is spectacular on the M9, so it would be even better on the M8 I think it would beat the CV 15, personally, but both are very good.

I don't have the ZM25, but shoot the 28 cron alot.

All 28 cron. What you don't see is the din of many tiny birds who occupied these vines

Sorry, Charlie - for some reason I had it in my head that you had been shooting with a ZM25 - perhaps it was someone else.

I sealed the deal on the ZM18 today or tomorrow, and now I'll have a great little setup. Of course when I see what you're doing with your 135...

My daughter had a soccer game this afternoon that was cut short at halftime due to this passing by (they won 1-0), but they cut the game short not a minute too soon...

This is a three shot pano with M8 and Ultron 28 1.9, 1/60 @ f/11

Nice one, Gero! I guess you were a bit out of the central Baltimore area, somewhere to the northwest? Ironically I'm in Baltimore right now...

Here's the beginning of the entertaining show we had for dinner overlooking the Inner Harbor area and downtown...

M240 & CV35/1.7 II

It was a narrow but very active storm band that blew through at about 6pm. Great looking sky, without question.

Didn't see this mentioned earlier, but might have missed it. Looks like MS Optical in Japan will release a new lens... a 35/1.4. MTF looks to be of 'classical' imaging characteristics.

Ron, that's a photographer's sky for sure Great photos. Interesting about the new MS Optical lens, I recently got the 24/4 but haven't had much time to use it yet.

Ron,
I was out at Saint Paul's Schools which is to the north of the City and those pictures were taken around 5pm.

Not often we have a storm like this blow through during daylight hours.

Nice pictures, and very dramatic.

Had a nice sunrise at work the other day... Should have bumped the ISO up a bit though.
