I've been taking my M8 and 28 1.9 Ultron wherever I go, and this evening, I took the following on my way home. I have a processed color, followed by a BW conversion. Color was processed in Color Efex and Viveza, and I then took this file into Silver Efex Pro 2.
Gero - Loved those M8 shots - I started out with an M8 and it excels at B&W. Apart from certain convenience factors (coding) I don't reckon the M9 has much more performance, apart from full-frame vs APSH naturally.
More great landscapes Charlie, it's always sad to see derelict farms.
I've been considering the Heliar 15/4.5 III, which would give me 20mm on M8, but I've also stumbled across a very nice opportunity on a very lightly used ZM 18/4 (24mm on M8).
Charlie, I see you shoot your ZM 25 quite a bit - do you find any limitations with it?

Thanks,

The ZM18 is spectacular on the M9, so it would be even better on the M8 I think it would beat the CV 15, personally, but both are very good.
I don't have the ZM25, but shoot the 28 cron alot.
Sorry, Charlie - for some reason I had it in my head that you had been shooting with a ZM25 - perhaps it was someone else.
I sealed the deal on the ZM18 today or tomorrow, and now I'll have a great little setup. Of course when I see what you're doing with your 135...
My daughter had a soccer game this afternoon that was cut short at halftime due to this passing by (they won 1-0), but they cut the game short not a minute too soon...
This is a three shot pano with M8 and Ultron 28 1.9, 1/60 @ f/11
Didn't see this mentioned earlier, but might have missed it. Looks like MS Optical in Japan will release a new lens... a 35/1.4. MTF looks to be of 'classical' imaging characteristics.
Ron, that's a photographer's sky for sure Great photos. Interesting about the new MS Optical lens, I recently got the 24/4 but haven't had much time to use it yet.
