I am still enjoying re-discovering medium format film and cameras too much and my Leica gear has been underused recently. A few b&w conversions from the Leica Q taken last month in Athens - Greece. The quality of this camera is hard to beat.
Great images continue on this my favourite FM thread. As is often the case, I have simply added Likes.
Against all expectations I seem to have been successful at self-cleaning my M9 sensor after making a real hash of it before an overseas trip 5 weeks ago.

It's funny you say that, because it rang a serious bell. I was leaving a trailhead 10 days ago and two hunters pulled up on very fancy wide-tire motorbikes, and one guy had a rifle mount on the handlebars. A really well made one that looked expensive. Hmmmm

PS ty all re second shot of previous set. That 135/3.4 has given me many interesting captures. I was warned I'd need a tripod with that lens, but apparently not Note the small grove of whitebarks in the lower right. 90% of these trees have been killed in recent years as warmer temps promoted bug infestations, but in this place there is still a significant population. I have watched it for years and we applied verbenone to 115 of them for three seasons in an effort to keep them going.
This trees are the primary source of protein in the backcountry as they have very rich nuts, which bears and squirrels live on, and they cannot procreate without their bird, the clark's nutcracker, which brought them here from eurasia.
Things move fast on this thread! I went out to take some more photos and do other stuff and we have about 6 new posts.

Coogee (Richard) - great saturated colours indeed. Somebody is selling a 21 SEM here in Aus but I must resist!
Now, more importantly, anyone want to buy a Volvo S60? (Believe it or not, it was sold to us by the current Aussie PM ).
