If I had limitless funds I'd probably replace my broken Ricoh GR with a Q. But I just can't swing another $4k+ camera right now, let alone a fixed lens one (no matter how good it is).
Bushfire and Bluebottle seasons officially started here yesterday, I hope I have pictures of neither to share down the track. Shark season has been open for a while unfortunately.
Finally getting round to first few shots with the 75 Lux (on M9). Focus is good, no problems. 75mm framelines totally suck though!
Unsurprisingly, it's not so great directly into the sun (let highlights blow a bit to try and capture the background hazy rays)
Just a play of light I get on my office desk for about 10 minutes a day, literally my 'highlight' of my working day at the moment, I await its arrival today.

Have some nicer WO shots, almost like watercolours, from sunset by a Lake to come.
I can already see that when the light is right, this thing will sing but under harsh lighting, it'll be staying in the bag.
I had a weak moment late last night and ordered a lens from Japan. It's basically a 500mm Tele-Elmar. That's a shade outside the range of RF calibration, so I had to distract the M9 from jealousy with a Sonnetar foray today.

I usually post in Nature and Wildlife, but just picked up a very nice M8, as well as a Voigtlander Ultron 28 1.9 and Nokton 50 1.5. I took the image below at Baltimore Penn Station this morning with the 28. I've admired all your work and hope to be posting more here going forward. I converted the image in Silver Efex Pro 2.0.

Coogee, I agree. I've family in Sydney and and the cities are distinct, but Sydney's beaches are far superior. I have to admit I prefer London in most months, however I am a transient "immigrant" myself so I can't say for sure. The light has been quite charming lately:
I went on a little outing to an old Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad depot that now belongs to the Baltimore Street Car museum. It's not in great shape, but it does provide for some interesting photo opportunities. Here are three samples taken with M8 and Ultron 28 1.9. The conversions to black and white were done in Silver Efex Pro 2.0.

Those are in dreamy 1.1 mode, which I shot that way because everyone at RFF was demanding to see it wide open. Between f/4 and 1.4 it is another lens entirely, and
