Thanks. I tried the film modes once or twice when I first bought the M240 but didn't really like how they were cooked. However, I quite like the B&W mode but still rarely use it.
I finally settled up on a 35 pre FLE I'd had on layby for a long time (I haven't anything to share with it yet) but I am surprised at how classic/glowy it is wide open. Far more than I thought it would be and wildly different to the surgical instrument that is the FLE. I like it! Though, like the 28 Cron, not the stupidly annoying hood!

I actually like the film modes, but they are only in jpg and impossible to replicate in LR, so I really cannot use them for this reason. The b/w mode is nice too but suffers from the same issue.
Lady shielding her nose and mouth from haze and smoke particles. The haze was awful the last 2 weeks I was back there, all stemming from deliberate forest fires in Indonesia.
I couldn't believe that her dress and the lines on the poster were a close match only a negative kinda thing and I was really hoping I could get into the right position to shoot before they saw me. A split second after I pushed the shutter the woman in the striped dress looked up and the moment was over.
Some morning snaps. I went to leica today and they didn't want to touch the "dirty" rear element of my lens. I guess it wasn't awfully dirty, but came that way brand new. The rep went on to say how some lenses have small scratches inside but when the lens is sent to germany leica didn't do anything to it. I suspect mine does too, but the lens performs fine so I'm not fussed. He also said the white dot wasn't paint..I'm pretty sure it is. Whatever the case I used a small black marker and blacked it out so I won't notice the white spot.
