FYI - if anyone is interested, I will be putting my ZM18 up for sale in a week or so. It's in great shape but I am going to *try* and just use my 21SEM instead of having two lenses so close in FL.

I'm doing the same thing.. I have a TON of M items up for sale on the B&S.
Not leaving the system, just downsizing to a few (hopefully 4) lenses and two bodies.
Yes, Adam, you are sitting on quite a lot of handbag money there...

Dang, Alan, you just make me think I need a monochrome every time I see your posts!
So seriously, speaking of handbags, I currently have an ONA Capri bag in my cart at B&H and am considering pushing the button. Anyone else carry an ONA? I have the Bowery also, but it's quite small, and I'm looking for something that is lovely (think feminine) and will also double as a handbag. Input? Do you like the Capri? I know most of you are men, but you'll still have an opinion, right?

Structured handbag w/custom inserts? That's pretty much the only way. My wife suggested I do that, since I don't like any of the camera bags out there. Well, she suggested I get a manly bag (if something like that even exists outside Europe). But you could do it with a handbag.
I have the ONA Leather Brixton.. It's to heavy, but my wife said the canvas ONA Brixton makes me look like a little kid and wouldn't let me buy it.
Just to note, the ONA Berlin II designed for M looks decent.

Been using/liking the S-system in my spare time. Still use the Ms for work. Also caved and bought a small Nikon kit to replace the large Canon kit I sold (once I realised that no Leica camera has a fuss free flash system). But yes, lots of handbag money if I manage to sell anything off. I did buy my wife the mother of all handbags, so I have a free pass to buy camera equipment for a while more. I intend to take advantage of the situation, but nothing good is out/coming out!
Does anyone have some pics taken with the classic Canon 50/1.4? I was chatting with a Leica service guy here about 50mm options for the M9 and he said that in his opinion the Canon was by far the best bang for the buck, comparing favorably with the Summilux of the same era. Found one for a good deal but it'll be a week before it gets here. Been googling a bit for pics but mostly find grainy TriX shots...
BTW, after venturing into the world of Sony (A7II) I am now firmly back in Leica land. M9 + 21 Elmarit + 35 Summaron + 50 Canon + 90 Summicron will be the "kit". The Sony stuff is nice but I hated shooting with it. M8 is getting sold today. (I'll miss the top display though, why Leica removed it on the M9 is a mystery to me.)
Pingflood, you and me both!! Slowly considering grabbing another 50mm to have around and was just looking at that same lens myself. Someone here has shot with it before, just can't remember who...

A few of us have it, or have had it (in my case). It's a good little lens, very retro in it's wide open state. I've also had the 1.7? version.. Both decent lenses, and yeah if you like the retro look, it's a good bang for the buck lens.
