Great shots Edward! I recently bought a ZM50/2, but it was on behalf of a friend, because I won an auction for an as-new (Feb 2015!) Summarot-M 50/2.4. Of course that was over 2x the Planar price, so I hope I don't regret my big spend.
This is a quick post of a couple from Rome last December.
I have to say, Toyota has alot in common with Sony: half finished, partly great products.
I was driving my FJ Cruiser off in the wilds last week and in the middle of nowhere all my warning lights, some having to do with the tranny (VSC) just lit up. Rig was running fine. I did have cell service, barely, and I googled it. Should I abort and go to a mechanic? The internet was full of stories where the gas cap or other minor issues could cause this. I checked and sure enough my cap was a tad loose. I tightened and then kept going. Lights stayed on for a week, very annoying since they would not dim with the rest of the panel at night.
Well low and behold, on my return from this trip, the rig decided I was not spending any money at the dealer anyway, and the lights all cleared!

PS looks like the A7r2 may be good with Leica wides: OMG Yes!!!!
@Adam: Just checked: My good battery shot 287 frames in this two day shoot. Went back to the charger with the M9 showing it between 50 and 75% My other battery also OEM, is not this strong.

Just seen this. Do you think that Leica maybe has better battery chemistry now in the batteries? Or perhaps a recent M9 firmware update made the camera a bit more efficient? Or is it that now a days you rarely chimp or go into menu settings, so batteries last longer?
I remember when I shot the M9, that wasn't the case at all. Batteries would hardly last a day, even if I wasn't shooting much that day.
Managed to clean my sensor just by using the rocket blower. The Dust Detection function is pretty useful!

Sorry if I've been posting so much - this camera is truly a joy to use. I've never felt happier bringing a camera around, and getting the shot is so rewarding. I've been bringing it to work every day. Makes getting up in the morning much easier...
Btw, I probably should start a thread but I've been considering selling the 80lux-R and getting a 28/35 instead. It's a ROM version and pretty mint, and I bought it when the euro was stronger so I paid a bit much for it. I prefer it's rendering over the 90APO and don't see the point of paying $1k+ more for a 75lux just to save on a bit of weight and the ability to shoot it as a rangefinder lens since I've the evf. It's just a little bit chunky and ever since I got the 50 I've had little incentive to put the 80 on. But for a tele lens on the M, even if it's an R, it's my lens of choice. I love the way it paints. I'm lusting for many lenses at 21/28/35/50mm but tele-wise, it's pretty undisputed for me. What's your take?
