Well i made my first attempt at sensor cleaning last night: major fail, dust remains with residue, but I was so gentle I doubt there's any damage and I have some new swabs coming to get it right.
One from a few weeks ago, never could decide how to process it. The great floating gate of Miyajima, though not floating so well on that day. I am thinking the next lens will be a WATE as I always seem to be reaching for the 21mm Elmarit ASPH.
Nice shots everyone! I have been traveling the last few days so I didn't have the opportunity to comment properly. I will try to post a few shots when I'm back to Bangkok but while Saigon is a wonderful city and the people are incredible, I didn't find much inspiration and the Viets don't seem to be as tolerant to photographers as the Thais are, probably French influence

@ Edward TY for kind words, that last shot really shows the wonderful clarity of the biogon stopped down a bit, and it has a special personality in the snow, once again just a bit distinct from the incredible 28 cron.
Normally I was using a 50, 75 or 90 to shoot these sort of ski shots, where I stand, and they ski by, whereas with the 28 I would actually ski with and shoot them while we both were moving, f/11. In these "crud" conditions that is basically impossible, but on the groomed runs it's easy.
But off-piste, they were often tending to ski close to me anyway, too close for a 90 at times
A 90 at this distance even f/8 can have challenging DOF. But now I will let them buzz me as they like to do , and shoot the 35 and 28, which are very forgiving, and often make a nicer look.
Anyway, as usual, I'm learning You should see how fast I can whip out the M9 from under my parka, basically no delay in our skiing flow at all. And of course they just love these shots.
As to lenses, there is only one now which I still really would love to own (since i have 75 lux on the way): 50 Lux asph. Pretty soon I'm going to sell a bunch of my "exploration" lenses and that may get me over the hump for that last jewel.
