shujert, jfreak, I have been enjoying your family pictures. Shooting Manual is more fun and also rewarding. The best part is everything is under your control and there are tons of trick can be used with more experience. It makes taking image much more enjoyable.
Haven't posted much lately. We spend a very nice thanks giving weekend in San Diego. This time no D810, only bring Leica and RX1. I will post some pictures later once I upload them.

Thanks Ed and jfreak. I just had to go and shoot the fresh fallen snow. Don't know when I would ever get another opportuntity to photograph Heritage Park in those conditions. In winter they are only open for 4-5 weekends before Christmas. It just happened we had a storm on Friday. Not wanting to pass up the opportunity -22C wasn't that cold. Even though a few buildings were open I refused to enter any building and wandered to an area where no buildings are open and kept going until I all my shooting was done. I was shooting with both my Monochrom and Canon.
Gary when you go for brunch hopefully it won't be that cold, but bring you M240 the colors are spectacular first thing in the morning and from 3PM onwards.
The processing added more aqua tones, but yes, pretty much those are his eyes. They are just like my dad's. thanks Gary. And congrats on winning the latest alt photo contest! Well deserved!
I haven't posted in such a long time. House renovations are taking over my life! I got sick of the constant banging and drilling yesterday, so I took Emily out to a park and brought along my Leica.
I've been playing around with the M7 a lot lately. Films kinda a pain though, and all the images I've developed are on CDs that I can't play in my computer since I left my superdrive at home (Singapore).
I've been lurking when I have the chance. Really great images everybody!
Also thinking about revamping my lens lineup... But can't really decide what stays and what goes. And then what to buy, if anything.

Shujert, the 1st b/w shot is my favorite. Great effect of the light/shadow of the blinds. The swing shot is also excellent!
Gary, beautiful colors in the first vertical shot. The b/w car shot is also superb. Maybe a tad more underexposure would have helped to keep the detail in the highlights.

Thanks Edward. I will post more in coming days. Finally we are getting some much needed rain in SF bay area once it clears up a bit I will should get more chances to practice outside .
