joakim I like the shot brings that famous saying we see where your subject has been.
Katie nice shadow shot
Gary that one person on the segway is using a cell-phone. I guess they don't have distracted Segway laws in effect. Though that one little girl on the right with the orange shorts seems to be concerned as is keeping an eye on him as she hustles away. Very nice shot, so many things in it that kept my interest wandering throughout the image, discovering new things.
Thanks to those who commented a couple of pages back on my winter shots. I used the one with the covered train tracks for my class assignment, ironically I was asked by the instructor why I chose black and white. My answer was simple I want to submit at least one shot for each assignment using the Leica Monochrom.
But darn it the Monochrom does not do video so I am out of luck. Time lapse is not permitted.
Thanks for the support guys... I'm on the home stretch of "Phase1" renovations.. I'm going back to Singapore just in time for holiday shopping and monsoon season (that's when I suspect I'll be editing a lot of 2014 images). So I'll be online more in another two weeks+

MarCom Awards is a creative competition for any individual or company involved in the concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.
The MarCom statuette graces the trophy cases of some of the top business and communication firms in the world. The MarCom competition has grown to perhaps the largest of its kind in the world with about 6,000 entries per year. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies. The competition is so well thought of in the industry that national public relations organizations, local ad clubs, and local business communicator chapters are entrants.
Judges are industry professionals who look for companies whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. There were over 6500 entries from the United States, Canada and 15 other countries in the MarCom Awards 2014 competition.
Thank you Vik! The light source is just harsh noon time daylight behind my friend, and a light colored wall reflecting back some of the light in front.
Gary, b/w version is fantastic! The last shot has a heavenly intervention. It's a sign for you from God to sell all your Leica lenses and go Zeiss all the way. It is even mentioned in the Genesis: and God said let there be light: and there was Zeiss.
