Yep, pretty much. Although I carry the GR more than the M-E ... easier to tote and not worry about losing. We are headed to Junk Gypsy Prom on Thursday ... should be a BLAST!!!! Will take pics - with the GR.
Joe, thanks for the S2 image. They are very nice. I'd love to buy that body if they got a 35mm/50mm f1.4 lens for it . That will be the whole reason for me to get in, I don't need more pixel from MF. As for D810, I have customized it like a glove. Through single quick manual, I can access all the stuff I need in field. I never confusing about setup like A7 did especially switch between manual or AF lens in field.
Nicoimages, Very nice set of images. I use VSCO to save some editing time, though, if I have time, I prefer to play the editing myself. but I never use it as is. For that set, I think I did start from the 'portra' preset.
Great images, guys, i can't keep up this thread if I miss a day or two.

I think the right direction for digital medium format is option for higher ISO capability and live view rather than super fast lenses. Depth of field is shallower on the larger formats and going faster than f/2 will make lenses too large/heavy. Here's two examples on the S2, first with Summarit 70 @ f/2.5 and second with Mamiya 120 f/4 Macro lens. Even with crop factor of the S2 sensor, DOF on the 120mm @ f/4 can be tricky to focus up close.

This weeks photo assignment is on movement 3 shots. After my race in Banff last Saturday went for a quick shoot with the Monochrom. The other shots I am submitting are fast action shots and pans thus no rangefinder for those but I think this shot shows the subtleness of the critter's movement with the front left leg. So I am keeping up on including 1 monochrome shot per assignment.

Joe, again you're tempting me so much I think the attraction of the S system is in the viewfinder and the wonderful lenses, and of course the SLR form which is much different to the M. I don't even consider it medium format, though. With it's just 1.25x factor, it is more like a slightly beefed up FF rather than MF.
