Quick one from last weekend w/ my new to me C/Y 85mm f1.4.
Nothing spectacular, light was in the wrong direction, and was harsh.
Shrug, enough w/ the excuses!
I think this is f 5.6, or f 4.0:
Thanks Edgars. The 135 was my first foray on C/Y Zeiss lenses. Got the 35-70 after that. Now looking forward to a 100-300, 28 Distagon f/2.8 and a 50 f/1.7. Are you from Riga?

Cheers,
Chris.....
I have the 28/2.8 and 50/1.7 - nice inexpensive lenses. I am considering adding a zoom, but I am more tempted with the 28-85mm or N 24-85. in fact, I also want the 28/2 and 35/1.4 - I am in no rush though.
I come from a place close to Riga, but have spent my student years in the capital.
Thats the look I love from some of the 85's, especially the Zeiss. The Soft but Detailed look. Shot Wide Open? Looks very dreamy, it could be due to how close it was focused.
