This is why I like the M645 so much ... with a bit of coaxing in post (rounds 2 & 3), I found some tones in the glass reflections that otherwise weren't noticed. The M645 glass does such a nice job of capturing things that I don't even see. It's almost like a treasure hunt in post.
Another from a wet & snowy May weekend, 1Dmark2 & Mamiya Macro 60mm f2.8 @ f11 i think. Not spectacular, but I like it because it resembles a mini glacier...
My A 200/f/2.8 arrived today. Just to show what the MFD means for tight portraits with this lens, this is as close as you can get on 35mm. Had I stepped forth 1cm I could not have focussed anymore.
Bernd,
congratulations on your new lens! I think this lens has tremendous potential.Great color and contrast and sharp wide open. And i was surprised at how well built it is.
Was thinking in your comment did you mean to say 1cm forward and you would not be able to focus?

Ah, thank you Jim! Of course 1cm forth and not back. I've corrected this above.
I agree, mechanics feel great, the focussing ring turns good damped while smooth, just like the A150 I have, but all a little heavier and a little front heavy as reported earlier here, but handling while shooting feels good to me with the D3. The lens is rather short and the focus ring is near enough to the camera, that I can back up the cam with the end of my hand while the fingers do the focussing. My copy is round about a half year old and in like-new condition.
I made some silly test pictures at work before - nothing work showing - and indeed results look very promising. I am ok with the MFD but would it be a little shorter, I would of course love the more flexibility it would give me. I don't see myself screwing in extension rings often in the future.
But there is no free lunch and compared to what the lens seems to deliver I can easily live with that. Should I want to go in the face there is always a ZF100 in my bag anyway.
