connor, thanks, yep, I got the extension ring with the lens, but it also knocks down infinity to (estimated) 3m and that is too limiting for my general use of this lens. But no question, for special needs this will be a great thing.
Decided to visit the "golden boy" again to try a long range shot with the 210mm. Shot from around 175-200 feet. Please excuse the dust spot on the sensor again.
Found a 45mm S version at a shop yesterday. Too bad it was in less than desirable condition (heavy cleaning marks, loose barrel, stiff/loose focus ring & generally been around the block a bit) Despite all that, my test shots were respectable, but I passed.
Sounds like a plan. My goal by then is to have at lest 1 lens that JC doesn't (I sold all my Leicas just before he got into them) so he can borrow from me to test vs the other way around for once ;>
