Thanks Adam..
Great shot. The subtle colors and detail are well captured.
The 100MP ZE is one my favorite lenses. I really like the FL 100mm for portraits...just seems to give the separation and without intruding into ones personal space.

Marvelous shots Charles. any pp on the shots with 50/1.4 or is it just the light? Skin looks super smooth.

Thanks Ajay C and Edgars Again appreciate the comments!

I used CS5 with window 7 64 bit, with Imagenomic Portraiture plugin. It is very subtle, and there is very little applied through the settings. The lady, Sara has very smooth skin naturally, and lighting was very soft. Imagenomic Portraiture is a great program, for portraits, particulary when you don't have a MUA on hand

I'm using a Canon 7d with a Sigma 50mm 1.4 It's a miss or hit situation (AF) and I'm thinking about buying a Zeiss lens. Which one would do the job? I use the Sigma mostly for portraits and shallow light circumstances.

I have got ZF 50/1.4 for my canon 30D. At the same time I have Summicron 50. Now I only have to use them both for a while and decide which one to keep. I have also thought of buying the lens you have. Difficult to decide with such good choices!

Are you satisfied with the ZF 50 1.4 at the 30d?

I personally prefer 50mm Ze 1.4 planar. What a lens. Few images here -

Unfortunately am parting with it as I needed WA lense (21mm ZE ) and have to sell the 50mm.

Very impressive. Is it sharp at f 1.4 or do I have to stop down?

I have recently bought some 7 used lenses and have not had time to use them properly - just enough to try each shortly. Time will tell. However, if I have an opportunity to purchase a used 21mm I will sell it most likely (some other ones as well). I have a few manual lenses in this focal length.

Thanks! That's my friend's peeling garage helping out on the background. I just couldn't resist all the blues after days of gray on gray.
