Thrice, great shots. That 18mm looks great. I'm curious to see what the second concert shot would have been like with the light behind the subject rather than next to....
Great shots everyone! Following the recent blunt critique on this forum I have to admit with regret that I also do not have what you may call a "spark" for photography. I look for inspiration at the work of other great artists - including the majority of work I see here.
I see myself more as a collectioner. Btw, I tried out my new Leica Summicron-R 50mm today and can say that it is able to produce a very busy bokeh that is not dissimilar to that of Zeiss 50/1.4. Sure I shot it in bright noon sun with lots of twigs in background.
Well done, Charles! All the more so as this lens is not that easy to use wide open. The scene must also have been quite a bit darker than the picture shows, so focusing manually with a very thin DOF was not a given. Again, congrats!
I just did two photo shoots where I used the 50 MP ZE, 100 MP ZE, and honestly WOW is all I have to say..
Though again (and charles.K I have you to thank for this), I think I'd like to try the 50 1.4 ZE, as it may be better suited for portraits/headshots over the 50 MP ZE which is awesome and is better suited for technical makeup shots, and fashion or products.
Still considering the 85 ZE... And still love the 100 MP ZE, the 35ZE isn't getting much use, and I really want the 21, though other then vacations I probably wouldn't use it locally.
