Thanks Andy. It's definitely been impressive.
Even more impressive is that for shots like the third one, I was snowboarding too (not just posted up at the box). The autofocus is so smart that I can just snowboard alongside them and fire away.

The Large Magellanic Cloud galaxy shot with 7D 100mm f/2, ISO 12800, 13 x 6 sec exposures (tripod only, no tracking). The lack of noise banding is great.

Hi Paul, nice shots. You may be better off using ISO 2500 than ISO 2000 for noise. The 1/3 stop lower ISo than native are always cleaner than the 1/3 stop pushed from native on the xxD and 7D.

After 2-3 days of playing, finally got one that is almost worth of posting It could probably use a bit of time in lightroom - The picture is basically "raw" except that I spotted out a crack in the wall to the right of the cat
