This is a great thread - I am so glad to see some images from the 7D. They're all so excellent that it's impossible to single out my favorites - I have been going "Ahhh!" with every scroll.
Thank you, everyone, for sharing such terrific work!

I shot with a friend's 7D for only about 5min at the Jasper-Pulaski NWR. I was using my MKIII and then briefly switched to his 7D. Didn't notice any negative qualities at all. It seemed like a fantastic cam that performed nearly like my MKIII. I suppose there are some bad copies out there, but for me to have had no experience with one and then to pick this one up and get excellent results immediately tells me that the one I tried was a fine piece of hardware.
That's a beautiful shot! I live about 1/2 hour south of Jasper-Pulaski and hope to take my 7D for a workout there in the next few days. Thanks for even more motivation!

WOW! These are some really awesome pics, but I guess I should expect nothing less from all the fine photographers on FM, and their new 7D's. Lovin mine very much and still getting used to all those wonderful pixels from which to work. These were all shot this past weekend in Las Vegas, Nellis AFB, Aviation Nation Air Show.

I normally do not like to be a beta tester for new cameras. But this time round, the specs of the 7D impressed me much so I got one just time for my trip to China in early October. Here are the 7D images:

As I had expected .... there are lots of samples of both soft and sharp images. It comes down to the operator's picture-taking and post-production skills i.e. not a problem with the camera. Love the shot above - amazing color!
