Glad I gave Ektar 100 another chance, I really like this film. Farting around campus during a lunch break with R3a and Canon 50mm f/1.2:
Its been hit and miss for me. I've gotten some shots with it that I really, really like and others where I would have preferred Portra VC. But I'll be ordering some 4X5 sheets at some point soon.
A few from the backyard's re-awakening after the final melt. Early 1950's Rolleiflex Automat, Rolleinar 1 & 2, and the last of my stash of discontinued E100Gx (d@mn you Kodak!)
Here is one I'm working on. Intended output is 40X55 from 4X5 film.
4X5 E100G, Fuji 125 -NW, 2 soft GND, f32
I'll ultimately need to make a better scan but this shot is about the fine texture which is wiped out at web size. Quick and dirty 100% crop from this dry scan in the epson holder.
I had previously shown this Velvia 100F version shot at f16 which did not provide sufficient DOF for all the blossoms. I adjusted hue in blue and red on the E100G shot to make the color response similar, then applied a slight curve to get the luminance response closer.
