Kenny,
Yep, the snow seems a bit light & late. Usually after Christmas is a good time.
I plan on going up in early Feb.
I've only got three or four wired, Pohono, Sentinel, Yosemite Creek (this series)
There are 8 in total. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yosemite_Valley_Bridges
My BIL & I are planing on the Feb visit to capture them in snow.
Should be an excellent 4x5 and B&W opportunity

I'm contemplating a visit when the snow is on the ground, too. We'll see.

The snow usually does not stay on the valley floor for longer than a couple of days after a major snowfall. The snowfalls are quite rare at below 7000 ft in the recent years. The floor is at ~4000 ft.
I think I have found my cheap B&W combo. Kentmere 400 @ 800 in diafine. Sharp, grain is not obtrusive, scans very well. I have shot hundreds of feet of kentmere 100 and 400 but just started using diafine. Of course, subject matter helps Grandkids at Christmas. Leica M5, canon 50/1.8, pakon scan
Got some film back that had been in the camera for almost 4 years. Some color shift happened, but actually am quite happy with the results. Took a while to tweak this to get it somewhat realistic. Sunset this night was pretty outstanding though.
Fuji Velvia 50 (from 2007) Nikon F65, Nikon AF-D 24-70 2.8D and scanned with CoolScan V
Foggy afternoon walk with the dogs the other day. Canon A1, fd50/1.4ssc, kentmere 400@800 in diafine. Kodak pakon f135+ scan, slight adjustments in lr6.
Well, nothing else to do this evening so I will post some more. Hope no one minds.
From a late afternoon walk at the local state park. Canon A1, kentmere 400 @ 800 in diafine again. The lens was a Gemini 80-200/4.5 macro (I think, possibly cosina made lens). This lens is very sharp even wide open. Came with a kit and I of course tested it. Decided to keep it. You be the judge. Most of these were close or at w/o.
All in all, a nice little walk with these friends being polite and not running off.
