I saw today that Used Photo Pro has a "Mint-" 35 f/1.8G with box for $335 and an "Excellent" 28 f/1.8G for $280. Great prices there. A 35 f/2D would probably be ~$200 if you just grabbed a nice one online. Not sure where 28 f/2.8D's live, but I imagine it's closer to $150.

Has anyone here own a Kodak Retina III Big C ?
Is a fun camera?
I'm itchy to get it.
I have one and really enjoy using it. I think there are at least 2 or 3 regulars here are/were using the Retina (may not be all III Big C model). If the camera needs to be CLA serviced, you may check with Paul Barden, https://kodakretina.exposure.co/kodak-retina-camera-cla-and-repair-service. He serviced my copy.

Last of the Retina folders! It has the best viewfinder and that great Schneider lens. I have owned a number of Retinas but never had a Big C. If it should need service check with Paul Barden in Corvallis, Oregon after the first of the year. He has serviced several Retinas for me and his work is just great.
Some advice, always advance the lever for the full stroke. The cocking rack on the bottom winders can be damaged by mis-winding or trying to wind when either the counter reaches "0" or at the end of the roll. The frame counter counts down from 36 and locks the camera at "0" but there is a advance release button behind the shutter button.
I've owned a couple of the bottom winders, a IIIc and a couple of IIc's but really like the little IIa's. They're great cameas!

I have the IIc and love it. Sharp lens! And yes, Paul Barden is the guy if yours needs servicing. He did mine earlier this year and it came back in wonderful shape.
