I find this thread very amusing. How on earth can any DSLR be though of as a pocket camera?
I'd love a digital version of the Pentax Auto 110. Even though it could only fit probably a 1.5" screen, it truly is pocketable. (To boot, it has probably one of the nicest viewfinders on any SLR, and it is certainly better than many low end DSLRs). I'd buy a Pentax 110D if it was under $1000 and could use the same lenses as the old Pentax 110.

People are talking about primes for low-light. Fast primes are good for low-light, but pancake primes are rarely faster than f2.8, which isn't really fast enough for most available-light photography.
Also, I don't know what kind of pockets you people have, but even an XTi with no lens on it is too thick for me to fit in any of my pockets.
I was very excited to see this from Oly. The only place the 4/3'rd sensor would appeal to me is in a tiny slr like the 420 with 25/2.8. I cant wait to see it in person.
I just know the viewfinder will suck and I will get discouraged about toting it around.

Talk about mood swing. In 2 sentences you've gone from elation to depression
I think the problem is that Olympus has a long history of making excellent small cameras and lenses whereas Canon has a long history of making cheap small cameras and excellent large cameras and lenses.
When I saw the title "I Want Pancakes! " I thought the OP has gone nuts. I was going to say IHOP, you'll have better luck there. Learn something new everyday.
