So sorry Dan, you two need to go to Mexico and walk across the Rio Grande into Texas, the benefits are wonderful! By the way, "thank you for your service, but please step to the side and let who knows what walk right in and claim what you deserve", what a crime!
Brandon is too busy to help you out, he's on the phone letting Iran and Iraq know exactly where we plan to retaliate, you know, like they do for us................ November cannot come too soon!
On a happier note, JIII and I are getting serious about our bird photography. He's using my Olympus Tough, and I'm stuck with that old RF600/4....................
That RF 600 is a magical tool Jim. They look great.
I find Mockingbirds fun to watch. I have one that likes to check me out on the front porch from time to time. I don't see many Blue Jays here in Central Texas. We had many down on the coast. Those squawkers could be annoying. They were the neighborhood bullies.
Thanks Ray, it is a wonderful lens for sure. Thinking about the RF400/2.8 at some point this year. Seems my sources might have been a tad optimistic on the 200-800 lens that I want to test, they are made out of unobtanium at the moment.

Yeah sounds like a plan Jim! Very, VERY upsetting!
Yeah there seems to be NO "surprise" when planning military strategy anymore! Just mentioning where we will attack next seems to think, the enemy will shiver and run! Never happen GI!!!!

Darn crisp, sharp, textured detail here Jim! The bokeh is fantastic!!
Super job!
Annual report and general corporate photography is always fun and challenging. A photographer gets to learn the inner workings of a lot of different businesses.............

Just received authorization to fly drones on Perot Field for my Triple 7 folks next week. I currently have nine authorizations active in zero altitude airspace.......my knees are wobbly and I'm not even on site yet.........
Time to admit that I am out of my depth on my hangar door woes. I have a crew of guys (who for the first time seem to really know what they are doing) crawling all over it. They claim that they will have it ship shape by the end of the day.

Thanks Jan Arie! Sure miss seeing you! I'm sitting at HQ right now, just brought the Cub back from East Texas. Wish you were here with me, we'd go bore some holes in the Texas sky!

Jim, how many lights did you have to add to this composition? It looks very natural.
Hi Ray,
Just a couple, very subtle though. In retrospect, I might have feathered a strip light on the guy tending to the machine. Every shot is a learning and growing experience. I didn't have my Westcott's when I did that shoot, or it would have been a more striking image.
