Dad always said we'd be a minority in twenty years and that was ten years ago. We're gettin scarce Jim.
I don't mind being in the minority, it's the blatant disregard for our constitution that upsets me.What other country in the world has zero regard for who and what crosses it's borders? This shouldn't be a party line thing, it should be an American thing! Cracks me up when the "Sanctuary Cities" begin crying about the effects of their own policies, when they have been destroying Texas for years.
It has been a rather busy month for me, traveled to Carlsbad, CA, Chicago, IL and Islip, NY.
I still have one more job tomorrow morning with a Bombardier Challenger 300.
Photographed this G-IV last week for a client. Compared to the G-550's and G-650's, this bird seems so "small" now.

Stellar set as usual Douglas
Hoping to catch some F-16 Vipers and CF-18 Hornets this coming Labor day weekend. Last year they cancelled due to low cloud ceiling.
Cheers,
IB
Thank you IB! and good luck getting some vapes! my next and last airshow of this year will be the show in oceana in two weeks. they just removed the F/35C demo from the lineup, a big bummer for sure. but the rest of the lineup is still very very strong.

Hi Dan,
Yup! We had a little break today, 98, but it's headed back up and no rain in the 14 day forecast. My oilfield clients are getting itchy for new imagery and the 777 folks called to say they needed me week after next regardless of temps. "The show must go on!"

Seems like a lifetime doesn't it?!
It is, when i was little summer seemed to go on for ever.
Nowadays when you in the ratrace of life time fly's by like a jet plane.
Already September Christmas is calling
Two days of work left then I start my summer break, I will be doing a short US tour with a group of seven people.
We will be starting in Salt Lake City, we were supposed to visit the world of speed event on the salt planes but because of the recent bad weather that event has been cancelled.
Then we fly to Portland Oregon for a couple of museum visits, from there we drive to Lake Tahoe for a two day visit to the Reno Air races.
Then we drive to San Francisco for a couple of days and from LAX it's back home..
Maybe you guys know, just saw on the news that Washington State had some horrific fires.
Is there a actual firemap that is viewable for the public so that we don't venture into area's we don't supposed to..

Jan-Arie, Portland may be your biggest threat, more than the wildfires. Stay safe.
Sad but true, however LA and SF are pretty bad as well nowadays, keep an eye on your camera equipment or always keep it with you. Most fires are in Southern Oregon and N. Cali. Actually got a lot of rain yesterday, nice change from the heat, fire and smelling smoke all the time. Today, clear and sunny.
