Dan, you had 80F That's shocking, I was snowblowing. Usually our weather is closer than that.
We just had 3 or 4 inches and I wasn't planning to start up the beast, but it was so wet and heavy that it made sense.
We're headed to 10F by tomorrow morning. Then probably more snow Tuesday. I can already tell - this is going to be one of those years where February is mostly like April and March feels like February.
Thank you Tony-
Ps...That story was a friend of mine, not me.
.
Dan, that would be a lot of fun sailing like that in the air.
.
About an inch this morning, now all gone and the sun is shining.

My neighbor has 1 of these, an air balloon and a olde Navy Stearman. He loves to buzz my house and drop "Tootsie rolls" into my yard! Some fantastic compositions here Bill!!!!
Thanks Bill!!

Bill, nice job with these. Do you know if the green 911 is a Singer? They build custom 911s from 964s (sold from 1989-1994), modified to look like an early (pre-1974) 911. I think it is, especially looking back at the photos you posted on Feb 3. Big bucks, like $300K.
I photographed this Piaggio Avanti last week and played around with it in Photoshop this week.
One of the best paint schemes I've ever seen on one of these unique aircraft. Almost as fast as a jet. The company claims it gets almost 20% of its lift from the fuselage with the other 80% coming from the wings.
I'd love to get an opportunity to fly on one of these someday. Their engines make a very strange sound in the sky, like a large swarm of bees.

He is a Sweetheart. I've gotten him used to the Cub through a few hours of taxiing, now we are just waiting for a perfect evening to go on his first hop around the pattern. He loves the hangar and the airport. He has a crush on our Medial City lady helicopter crew so we have to go see them whenever we are out..........
