I am glad the "gods" were watching over her Jim!
I have lost a few family to this deadly disease and those who render themselves as donors, already have a special place in the "Garden of Paradise"!
Glad you are involved. It gives one a sense of purpose!

Thank you Dan. Tell you what four hours at an event like that will do for you......makes one realize that they don't have any problems, and a great deal to be grateful for.
Super images Jim! One never really realizes how very fast these "flashes" are going until you hear it, see it, and then it is gone! Wooosh!!!
Great work!

Thanks Dan! Just going back through the stills from AFW 2022. Perot has requested a number of them, and the video clips, for their huge multimedia displays in the new FBO at Perot Field.
FYI, Jay Beckman has successfully come through his second round of brain surgery and the updated diagnosis is encouraging. Please keep Jay in your thoughts and prayers, the Beckmans have been through a lot over the last year, real troopers, and still fighting.
Most of those images were captured with the R5/R5c and the RF 100-500. I've heard some rumblings that my RF600/4 is on it's way to me, but I'll believe it when I am mounting it. I'm also heading very faint noises re: an R5s, no specs yet, but the rumors indicate it might be a first half of 2023 product. More than any other time in my history with Canon, I feel no sense of urgency re: new models. I am so totally happy with the R5/R5c that I can shoot away while I wait for the next big thing.
Before this coming week gets away from me and becomes "last week", I hope all of you have a Blessed and Peace Filled Thanksgiving. Try to keep it under a Grand, but don't scrimp on the cranberries...................
My wife suggested that we take in the Blue Angels homecoming airshow last Saturday and I try not to disappoint her… :-)
I haven't been to see them in a couple of years and am slowly getting back into some photography for fun. These were all shot with the Fuji X-T4 and 50-140, most have significant cropping. I’m pleased with the performance of the gear and realize how rusty one can get when you don't practice regularly.
