Glenn
Well to tell you the truth around here Glenn...I am in the direct flight path from BWI, Dulles, Martinsburg(military), Camp David, Site6, Baltimore and East...I like the low slow flying aircraft...I can watch them before they are gone from view!
Jim's nephew, and his outfit, fly over many times! Always a "waggle and a wave"!
Dan
Been rather busy lately, traveling all over the place.
Photographed this G-200 and the Citation Latitude in Florida recently.
Sadly, the G-200, has a horrible paint scheme, at least the touch ups are horrible. Someone actually touched up the paint scheme with a BRUSH and you can see the brush marks, along with the fact that the white paint they used is NOT Matterhorn White, which is what about 96% of all jets are painted with. Can't believe someone let that happen.
The Citation Latitude, along with the Longitude are Cessna's latest editions to the Citation line-up, and they actually have a flat floor in both models. It is a nice looking aircraft.
Mike, I remember the flurry of Vulcan photos here a few years ago just before it was retired. Saw the Red Arrows perform only once at a show in Rhode Island in 2008, and was really impressed.
Love that T-38 Bill. Hope you have that printed large on a wall somewhere.
Dan, I spent the last three weeks working up in Norridgewock, Maine, a bit north of Augusta. I was thinking how nice it would be to spend a few months up there every year. But I would have to go alone (which I wouldn't mind!), my wife is the same as yours.
Haven't been to an air show in years. This is all I have flying.
Thanks for the generous comments on my pictures.
I have only as far as I remember, seen two air shows.
I do have very vague memories of seeing air displays when I was a boy, as my father was an adjutant officer at several air force bases that he was posted to.
The Red Arrows are a class act, as the excellent Rhode Island picture shows, but their planes are pretty old so I do wonder what they will replace them with.
On the subject of people who do amazing work and stepped out , way out, on the financial limb with their dream............... oh to be 30 again with today's technology. https://wazeemotionpictures.com/about.html
Ever dawn on you that there is so much that you haven't done, so much that you will probably never get to do?I'm in deep denial on the subject of my age, but realistic enough to know that I'll never touch these guy's work, guess that I have to admire them and just be inspired..................

Headed over to shoot the “Be a Hero” event today. They are the group that collects DNA information to help match people who need bone marrow transplants with the right donors. I didn’t know a lot about them until a year ago when my niece was diagnosed with a very aggressive, very fatal form of Leukemia. The gentleman who was her match had attended a party like the one I’m shooting today several decades ago. He turned out to be close to a perfect match to Megan, who now has his DNA and is in complete remission. Her prognosis was less than 6 months. Sooo, I’m happy to be involved in this.

I am glad the "gods" were watching over her Jim!
I have lost a few family to this deadly disease and those who render themselves as donors, already have a special place in the "Garden of Paradise"!
Glad you are involved. It gives one a sense of purpose!
