Jim,
I can't bring myself to viewing what I saw happen on tv. It is just too unnerving for me!
Crap happens! I understand that.....a shame for all!
Thanks for all your videos and such!
Were you there?

Hi Dan,
I get it, don't look at it, it's heartbreaking. I was not there, sent the B17 crew chief a text at 11:30 pm Friday telling him that I wouldn't be at the brief, or a the show. The story is longer than that, but suffice it to say that I am grateful for Divine Providence, confused by it, but humbly grateful.

For those of you who have not attended Wings Over Dallas, this is a clear example of the way that the flyover is supposed to go. What happened yesterday is really inexplicable when you view this and how simple it is supposed to be...........
Jim, is this video real footage from the past or animation? Forgive my poor eye sight.
Two different photographers were robbed in California today while on assignment, one was pistol whipped after he was robbed......just because. Be careful out there! I'm picking up my latest Glock this week, they can have my gear, but they aren't pistol whipping me! What a world!!
I don't know how people live in CA. I know several people here in Central Texas who moved from CA. They tell me the first reason they moved to Texas was because of the crime in CA. One of them is a fellow sports photographer who use to be a crime scene photographer in Sacramento. He won't even go to Austin because it reminds him of CA. Go figure...

And yet we have the election results that we have................................
It seems to me the abortion issue trumped everything else, even inflation and crime, the country has changed… I hope the GOP will pick a trump without the “Trumpness”, his policies were good for the most part IMHO but his ego is just too much. He needs to shut up and enjoy his retirement. Demeaning DeSantis and Youngkin, or for that matter, any opponents, is just uncalled for.

Act like a MAN !
Hinting he would run again and demeaning DeSantis right before the mid term, and now saying Youngkin's name sounds like a Chinese name, this is just too much. I hope his kids and people close to him will talk him out of running again. No question he has been vilified by the left but he provided them ample ammunition to do so too. I applauded him for bringing issues like US manufacturing, border, challenge posed by the rising CCP dragon to front and center and did/tried to do something about them. But it's time for younger leadership. Or he will win Alabama and Alaska only.
Glad my father (he was on Omaha Beach on D Day) was not alive to see Jan 6. It would have broken his heart. Any time it becomes party over country(my father saw the results of that first hand) and even worse individual over country things get very dangerous especially if they are able to get others to follow. We are all Americans and we should all realize that no party or no man is more important than our country and our democracy period. I've said this before if you are in the real $h!t you won't care one bit if the person next to you is red, blue or purple. You will only care if he has your back as well as you having his.

Could NOT agree more brother!

Problem these days is the fact that our military leaders are more interested in making sure we have male admirals in skirts and everyone is "woke". Our adversaries are doubled over laughing.

We should go dig President Reagan up, he'd be better than what we have "leading" this country now, even in his present state!
One bright spot, we sent "Beto" packing for the third time. The fact that a zero like that guy could muster more than his family's vote is beyond comprehension. Sign of the times. You know that verse in the Bible where God throws up his hands and says, "You want it, you got it, I'm out!"? I guess I'm there...........
I agree with all that has been said above...there is another side of this farce, sorry "story", that has yet to be heard and I don't want this thread to get "locked".
All I can say, or ask, is that are you better now than you were in 2020? Leave the personality out of the picture for a moment...as a retiree, on a fixed income, 40 years of work-not counting as a youth,, 6 years of military service...2 of which were in direct combat, a medical issue family,...then as a businessman(not me) if you are, as an entrepreneur(not me), if you are,
...politics aside are you better off now?..Was the state of the US economy worse then than now?
I WAS in a far better place then than I am now! Are you?
If you are than great for you! If you believe the Country is better now than then..great for you!
I do NOT see the majority of this Country in a positive position in any category(wealth, health, jobs, issues that affect women's rights, climate...did anyone study geography? Cyclical climatic changes over and above pollution?....... Elections or not!
Sorry for the rant!
Dan
We are seeing the outcome from a lot more that the last two years.
Hopefully the crash of 2008 isn't coming again.
Gas and housing is coming down tho, slowly at least as well as raw materials.
If we could make every thing better and change in two years, that would be something else.
Work has never slowed down for us and won't be anytime soon.
Problem is all the lazy people that get paid for doing nothing.
No one want's to work or figure anything out.
Unemployment, Marijuana, Homeless, Trash, No Respect, crazy world and crazy kids now a days.
No one want's to work and buy a new camera, car, boat, house, vacation...
I agree Bill! My rant came from a "place" where I was/ we were doing fine for a retiree(s) on a fixed income and issues that impacted my income greatly. I/we was/were living comfortably. Within our means. Prior to 2 years ago, we were doing fine. We are not now! My 401k has lost 40-60% and I am an extremely conservative investor! This is our retirement!
Maryland is NOT a retiree friendly state!!! Move? Can't do. Want to YES!!!!
Yes I stated factors that impacted my area. Housing prices are not coming down here. Interest rates are rising but is not impacting the cost of the real estate market here. Yes the market has slowed but not the prices.
Gas prices are lower but not at the point of the past 2 years. That line in the sand is still dollars ahead of what it was. Luckily I dont drive much.
Work That is an issue I will NOT rant on!! My wife and I can't even get an emergency return call from our PC physician! Medical care is below a "3rd world" country here. Doctors or practices who care are not taking new patients!
Food prices are just outrageous for whatever reason! Milk, bread, toilet paper..a chicken..$50+ for just those items? We don't each much meat but $60 for a piece of beef for a roast? And it is not a "top round" selection.
YES...why work when you can get paid more for NOT working!? Get a subsidy for NOT working? Completing college but have debt? Food, living quarters for nothing! Free medical care?
"Not my job man" Mantra of today! Figuring things out is a lost art around here!
