Hope all the MA2Aers in this neck of the woods made it to the show at Youngstown. As good a show as I've ever seen -- and a special guest made three passes on Saturday.
Very late Friday afternoon, the most beautiful B-17 I've ever seen showed up -- "Texas Raiders", from the CAF's Gulf Coast Wing. They said they spent $200K on new paint last December. Looked like it just rolled off the factory floor. (Its little friend looked nice, too.)
Opps, didn't account for it being a pano when I sized it for posting. Sorry.
Am in good spirits today, just seen that P-51B "Berlin Express" will be at Flying Legends next month. Always up for adding some shots of a different Mustang to my collection!!!
Some more from Stow Maries, have really enjoyed the post processing with this collection, nearly as much as the shoot itself.

No, darn it, I was out of town on Sat and working on Sunday.
James, absolutely fabulous series you've been posting.
ISAP Tucson event looks like fun. I think I'll join and play along. May try to convince the boss to do some flying and bring along some of the photographers. Would take a miracle but worth a try.
Wish I had been able, but I worked the last four nights. Now struggling to get packed and headed out of here. Looks like you had a good time.

Sounds like we might have a pretty good MA2A contingent at Tucson, how fun! I would encourage everyone to get their hotel reservations in as soon as practical because rooms will most likely get more expensive and be in short supply by late 2017. There are several other events at the same time that will be absorbing rooms, so the hotel would not maintain our rate or availability past about October.

It looks like they left off the "tramp stamp". Hopefully they remove them from their other aircraft in the near future.
