I was going to give a presentation on drones (what a life lesson on never say never this whole thing continues to be!), but it appears that we may have a much more experienced UAV person who would like to do that. I'm only too happy to slip out of that obligation
Your P&W PT-6, or your biz jet engine hiccups, 24/7, anywhere in the world, these guys are on it. They instantly pinpoint where you are, where the nearest resources/technician/parts are, even what the weather is between those resources and your ailing power plant. Then they put a plan in play to have you back in the air..............even if it means overnighting a Gulfstream engine. All it takes is $$$$$.
Just shooting for fun like this is always such a treat, of course it's the other kind of shooting that puts the good gear in your bag so you can end up with results like this.............
That's great news Erich! Looking forward to hanging out with you! I'm really hoping the drone guy comes through, it'll take something off my plate and give me more time to be with all of you.
I just had a great start to my Sunday. We have warm / hot and set fair WX here in the south UK. Sat out on our small deck and enjoyed breakfast in some shade, surrounded by our roses. Bliss!

Who in our group is considering the Tucson ISAP Symposium in the Spring? We're still adding speakers and outings, but it really looks like it will be a great event, in a beautiful spot, at a perfect time of the year. If you aren't a current ISAP member, you might want to consider joining. We have been working behind the scenes developing relationships with bases and organizations that should provide some very unique access, and really fun gatherings. The dues are pretty inexpensive and, as you can see from ISnAP, the talent and knowledge base is pretty amazing.
