Based on Apple attitude, I would say mid $6K.
The base iMac Pro will be $5K and come with an 8 core Xeon processor and a graphic card twice as fast as what's currently available in an iMac. You will be able to load it up to an 18 core CPU and an even faster GPU. It will be a true workstation minus the expandability and upgradeability.
A couple of interiors from this week's project. Home prices have skyrocketed in North Texas over the past year or so, a combination of supply and demand and the fact that people coming from California think two mil for anything bigger than a garage is a heck of a deal. This home, as it sits, will bump $900,000. I can tell you that I'll just keep updating ours because there are no sites that back up on forests in this area, let alone decent sized sites, and we would end up "downsizing" for about $500,000 more! Then there's the $2,500 in property taxes every month, before a mortgage payment, before you turn the lights on, before you buy a stick of furniture for it.
I have my priorities straight, I'm buying another hangar in our complex!

I just realized I've got to get an EzPass transponder as they are doing away with toll booths, and they're charging more if you don't have one... which state has the best deal for a one time use? I don't expect to be traveling back there after this.
Not sure I understand, Laura. Some states charge for an EZPass? They are free in Massachusetts.
Here's a shot of the Citation Bravo I photographed last week in Fort Worth, TX. Glad I was able to grab these shots before the massive rain storm passed by.
Heading out to Addison Airport today for a Falcon jet.
I just got an email saying that the Wings over Houston show Oct 21-22 will have the A-10 and P-47 Heritage flight as well as the Collins Foundation F-4 Phantom flying.

The tolls cost more. Each state has different terms and charges for the EZ Pass, some will ding you each month if you don't use it (NY/NJ) and some will automatically disenroll you if you don't use it for a certain period of time.. Here's New Hampshire's. https://www.ezpassnh.com/account/signup/ezpass
There's only one toll road in Ohio, and that's I-90 around Toledo, if I remember right.

On the subject of iMac Pro machines, I guess I'd have to dig deeper to see what the actual speed increase is in Photoshop (it's usually limited by Adobe vs hardware capability) and becoming more important, 4K video rendering speeds. If they are substantially faster, they'll be worth the price because it's the only way you can manufacture time, but if they aren't, well 6/7/8K, doesn't make a lot of sense.
My tickets for RIAT arrived this year. got some awesome seats. 3 rows from the top, two seat from the far east end. Hoping to be as lucky as I was last year this year.
I'm selling my Nikon 200-500mm as I've only used it maybe twice since acquiring the 400mm...it just doesn't seem to fit with the way I have my kit set up. It's listed in the B&S if anyone is interested. It's essentially brand new.
In other news...Kidlet #1 has taken up T-Ball...she's hilarious. You tell her to watch the ball and she hits it and just stands there with the bat still watching it go.
