Home prices have skyrocketed in North Texas over the past year or so, a combination of supply and demand and the fact that people coming from California think two mil for anything bigger than a garage is a heck of a deal. This home, as it sits, will bump $900,000. I can tell you that I'll just keep updating ours because there are no sites that back up on forests in this area, let alone decent sized sites, and we would end up "downsizing" for about $500,000 more! Then there's the $2,500 in property taxes every month, before a mortgage payment, before you turn the lights on, before you buy a stick of furniture for it.
I have my priorities straight, I'm buying another hangar in our complex!
