I did something similar when my grandparents had their 50th anniversary. My grandfather would watch the local city council meetings every week, so I got in touch with one, and had the proclamation done. It was read during the meeting as well as an embossed version sent to the house.

Hi Dan! Many thanks. Glad you enjoyed the spring pic – just what was intended.
Sad about the D of E – but not unexpected. Here in the UK we have a “thing” whereby folks, upon the occasion of their 100th birthday, receive a birthday card from HM Queen. A shame that HMQ will not get to send a card to her husband……. Oh well.

Knowing HMQueen, she will find a way.!

Well, I have it in good authority that the Canon R3 is the real thing. Positioned somewhere between the R5 and the rumored R1. Features and sensor size are under very tight wraps, but Can might spill the beans in the next few days, availability “second half of 2021", price will be somewhere in the unobtainium area 🤣, but not as high as the R1 obviously.
Weather permitting, an historic airplane that flew in the D-Day invasion of Normandy will land at the National Museum of the United States Air Force next week for a three-day visit.
That’s All, Brother, a C-47 piloted by Lt. Col. John Donalson, is scheduled to visit April 20 to 22, the Air Force Museum said
Looks like we'll own the hangar next to HQ in the next week or so and I already have it filled with airplanes. There. is no hangar space available in the metroplex and especially at KTKI. HQ is packed and so are the other two. The Cub may need to go on the lift.

When - not if - when the Cub go's up on the lift, I want pictures. Oh, you know which ones now. The ones with JIII holding the control box and mashing the big buttons. Oh yes!
Your wish is my command! I have those stills and videos with every Grandchild operating the lift and most of them riding it up and down............................ JIII and I are overdue for a day at the hangar.

Super cute picture with the American flag in the background, Jim.
Some shots of flying subjects from yesterday. I won't be shooting planes until my first airshow at the end of May. In the meantime, these will do. The wingspans of these bald eagles are just massive!
