Shot all the Zoo images with the R5 and the 100-500. My 15-35 arrived this morning but I haven't had time to unbox it. I have an Aquatech underwater housing coming for the R5 and a custom dome for the 15-35. I have a little underwater work coming up in Florida (now that the CDC has so graciously given me permission to travel) and I think the R5 is going to be a perfect fit.
Probably the diciest drone assignment I've flow thus far. The weather was perfection, but the power lines in and around the property combined with the dusk sky had me on my toes. Wouldn't have made Mike B. break a sweat, but I was glad when it was finished..............
Wonderful Douglas! I think you'll only regret buying that beautiful lens once , and you will love it forever! The imagery I have seen from the Sony 600 is gorgeous, and your better than any of those guys.............

That's for sure! I just got my Sony 600mm F4 GM, I am still not sure if I should spend that kind of money on a lens just to take pictures of birds.
A couple infrared pictures of the Marine Corps Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery this afternoon.
These are SENSATIONAL Douglas! The MCM has never looked so emboldened in IR!!! ANC in IR inspires the memories of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their Country.
You can almost see the spirits rise to greet each other on Easter/Passover!

Thank you gentlemen! A bit of good news, I was able to place a phone order for a ticket for Saturday and one for Sunday for the show in Latrobe, Pa next month. The ticket is $100 each for one vehicle with up to 8 people. It's a drive-in format where people will just sit around their cars. I will go for only one day by myself. I don't want to take the chance that one of the two days will have bad weather. If both days have good weather, I will waste one unused ticket, if both days have bad weather I will waste both tickets. But I want to see the BA flying in the Super Hornets for the first time so badly...It's a 200-mile drive for me, one way, not bad at all.
All my Legend Aircraft friends are in Florida preparing for Sun n' Fun, hope they have a great show. I wass going to go but I have a couple of assignments that I really need to finish up. The good news is, once they are all back we have a bunch of new Legends to shoot.
Very interesting info, Dave. I thought sea burial was for the time when storing the bodies on aboard was not feasible. Thank you for your service, sir!
I had an assignment in Boise, ID last week, and while I was waiting for the line guys to pull the jet out onto the ramp, this beast taxied by. On the way to Salt Lake City. I bet they didn't even get up to 30k feet for such a short flight.
I enjoyed visiting Boise, and I'd certainly like to go back there as a tourist, one day.
