JIII and I have been working on the pool pump this morning, just a few more PVC connections and we'll get to see if everything holds, and if anything else cracked.
Thanks Joe! You know, someone could make a ton of money if they came up with flexible pool equipment hoses, instead of the jigsaw of PVC that is every pump installation. What a nightmare!

Not sure if this is the right thread, but it seems that over the years this has become the de facto aviation thread. Shot these images over the weekend. I know nothing about planes so perhaps someone can share some details as to what this is! Shot on a Leica M10 and 50 Summilux ASPH.
Welcome Clay, we do have a few posts , and what you are seeing is the third version of Mustang Air to Air. I don't recognize that biplane model but maybe one of the family here can identify it.

This is why this forum will be active beyond my years!! It has become a "family".^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I have been referring to MA2A as a family for well over a decade now. It's hard to believe that MA2A will be celebrating it's 15th "birthday" this year.
Just returned from 4 hours of drone work in Addison's airspace, a picture perfect day, but nerve wracking to say the least. My Buddy Mike Brewington always says that you can't have too many batteries, he is not wrong..........come to think of it, he's never been wrong .............................

Amazing Ken, we've been through some stuff together haven't we?
Yes we have. It's a shame that many/most of the images in the earlier parts of MA2A are no longer able to be viewed. Lot of good stuff there that newer people will never get to see.
I went for a walk at the harbor mid morning. There was a group of maybe 30 or so, junior high, and high school aged girls flying drones. It was some kind of "womens/girls" event being done by a drone company I haven't heard of before. There was 1 guy there, and I talked to him for a minute. He said the company was a US based (Redwood City, CA) drone manufacturer. The drones I saw were fairly small hobby type drones. I couldn't remember the companies name so I looked it up, the company is Skydio. It was sort of neat to see a company doing something like that, and the girls seemed to be having fun.

Thanks Dan and Jim! Love checking out the photos posted on this thread and glad to finally contribute something.
Hi Ken, Skydio has had some ups and downs....no pun intended, but I think they have pioneered some amazing obstacle avoidance technology. Seems to me that they've had some production delays and made a bunch of people mad. Glad to hear they are doing events like that with youth, I don't think DJI is doing anything like that.
My Inspire 2 grooved on the rock solid Texas sky today. Not surprisingly, battery life is much better when it's not fighting the wind and thermals. My plan to shoot on a day when Addison was in south flow was a good one, most traffic turned out of the pattern before the got to me, the other day when the wind Wass out of the north they were right over me and just a few hundred feet up.
finally able to get off work before it was dark out. this plane was on the move from the old Airborne Express/DHL terminal to the base, a 3 day journey.
Just landed a nice project in Piqua Ohio, the home of Hartzell Propeller. Heading out to shoot four drone projects this morning, it's another picture perfect day in The Lone Star.
The fuselage is due to become a trainer for Medevac. It was cheaper to buy the fuselage and haul it local rather than flying something in from the boneyard. Supposedly the interior is in NIB condition.
BTW, the pilot's name is "Paul"
