It's not like we need any more bad news, an F-35 crashed in Florida yesterday, last week it was an F-22, both in Florida. Thankfully both pilots survived.

I don't know how many of you all here are my age - 82 on Friday couple days ago - I'm gonna give you all a couple of links that, while not diagnostic of the onset of heart attacks or the confirmed presence of COVID-19, are nonetheless resources that will in the case of arrhythmias in the former case, and the latter case, "silent hypoxia," might be useful. Be advised I'm not a medical doctor (thank God), and IANAL, so YMMV. I can tell ya I use both instruments. Here ya go:
Anyone else who's used the 6 lead unit, I'd love to hear what you think of it. I'm very tempted to buy one. I've been considering an Apple Watch for the ECG function, but this looks a lot more accurate.
I'll let you know Erich, my daughter Jennifer has loaded me up with more heart gear than I can carry. The 6 lead that Tony suggested should be here today. My Granddaughter Faith programmed my new watch that Jennifer got me and I've already sent three ecg's to my cardiologist, amazing technologies. I called Apple a couple of days ago and thanked them for producing the technology that saved my life, the guy was really choked up.
I have used only the single lead and I also have the Apple watch single lead, but I've read the reviews of the 6-lead and my Doc, who also has read them, advises me that, since my PSVT (premature supra-ventricular tachycardia) episodes have ended, secondary to losing 12#s of body fat via a solid Keto diet and only doing HIT strength training. So, since, I didn't need a cardiac ablation, I didn't need to spend the bucks unless I wanted to after those units came out. Be advised, I'm not a medical doctor, and I am speaking only out of personal experience, so ya'll's mileage might very well vary. Tony
Indeed so, Erich, my Doc advised me that as good as the one lead is, there is so much more data at a more definitive level (whatever the heck that means) that can be gotten from the 6-lead that, had it been available at the time, she'd've recommended I get it. Since the arrhythmias I had shown have disappeared, I save my $$. tony (Full Disclosure: I'm just a satisfied user) Take care, Tony
Union steward clocked in this morning, then came over to me with some news...
Effective Saturday, I will be a career employee instead of a non-career employee, WOO HOO
Means I can now start working towards retirement (ha ha ha) and will also have sick leave if needed. Will be checking into other benefits too, my health care coverage is better where I have it now...
Over a year ago now, I had a notion to do some pictures of local remnants / memorials, as my contribution to the 75th anniversary of D-day. Well stuff got in the way. So here – a year late – is one of the intended images. We live local to Stokes Bay. The beach was a hive of activity, as a main site for building the Mulberry Harbour sections. It was also the embarkation point for Canadian Troops. The embarkation is commemorated with this memorial.
The attached has many defects, which I intend to rectify in due course. Right now, this is the best I can do, representing over two days of solid effort in learning more that I want to know about post processing light painted, stacked, night images. Onward…..
As of Wednesday I am "free to resume my normal routine", so I walked a couple of miles and began lifting the 600.Hopefully, weather permitting my Cub and I will get reacquainted in a few days.
James III's Birthday is around the corner. His Dad and I assembled this present for him last week. I'm hiding it at the hangar until the big day.................
A good friend of ours who lives in East Texas has a pristine Skyline that he dearly loves. He lost his medical and called to see if I'd come and get it and fly it because he doesn't want it sitting. JR, Chandler and I are going down to get it when I get back in the saddle. I've missed my Skylane a lot since I made the mistake of selling it, this will be fun.
