My condolence to our Canadian ally. I watched the Snow Birds 3 or 4 times. Great team and great folks.
Last week Ms. Joyce Lin from Maryland, known by some folks from our church, crashed and died in a remote area in Indonesia, delivering COVID-19 medical stuff to villager. She got two engineering degrees from MIT and was a USAF pilot before she decided to serve the Lord on mission trips.
well, about the only shining light coming from this type of thing is that the pilots of this kind of tragedy be it Snowbirds, Blue Angels or Thunderbirds or any of the many other aerobatic pilots, died doing what they love doing, flying
..
2020 sure is shaping up to be a year best forgotten about, more sad news coming out than any good
i had read about the Joyce Lin tragedy last week, very sad
This evening's assignment was a success, a bit tiring, but it felt good to be doing what we do. Supervision was by none other than my Sweetheart. Should have known that there wasn't going to be any delegating of responsibilities on this one.............. All orders were strictly complied with.............thought I was going to have to weigh my tripod, camera body and every lens I pulled out, sheesh!
I'm glad she put her foot down, HARD. Things are different when they aren't so abstract...

And the week has just begun Nick..................
So that will be plenty of time for you to do the square root of zero – all week, in fact all the time between now and 06-01. Now the root of zero is nothing. So kick back, relax, for once in your life be square, stay rooted, and do nothing.
Did you see what I did there? Remember – every village has an idiot. Hi there.
What a week, I'm so glad to hear you got the attention you needed and are on the mend...with God and your wife looking over your shoulder all the way you should be good to go!
Whew.
It's mid May....and I'm ready for this 2020 thing to shape up or get it over with.
Thanks Zane, Yup I'm on this side of green and working my way back. All these girls helicoptering around me is making me a little anxious though...................
I had the opportunity to photograph this Citation X last week and while I really like the paint scheme on this jet, a Citation X looks a LOT better with winglets. They should have been BORN with winglets!
Man, heart monitors have come a long way. I've got a 1x2" oval stuck to my chest for 6 days, then I mail it in. Heart MRI on June 1 and I'm back in business. Grateful for the Lord's Grace and Favor and for everyone who pulled up along side to support me through this. Thank you all!
