I don't know how many of you all here are my age - 82 on Friday couple days ago - I'm gonna give you all a couple of links that, while not diagnostic of the onset of heart attacks or the confirmed presence of COVID-19, are nonetheless resources that will in the case of arrhythmias in the former case, and the latter case, "silent hypoxia," might be useful. Be advised I'm not a medical doctor (thank God), and IANAL, so YMMV. I can tell ya I use both instruments. Here ya go:

Photoshoot isn't worth it if you come unglued, literally... it will cost you far more in time and in your health. Tap the grandkids to do the heavy lifting, if you absolutely cannot control the urge to get out there. Just last year I had a fifteen pound lift limit for six weeks, and the year before, it was a five pound lift limit for four weeks... very hard to ask for help, but suck it up and ask.

>>>If you can't do that, make sure your DNR, living will, health care POA, last will and testament, life insurance documents, are all in proper order and somewhere Shelia can get to them easily.<<<

Thanks Jan Arie. I am chillin' and it's the perfect weekend for it, nice steady rain outside my bedroom window and nothing tempting me to move from exactly where I am. I've got a couple of architectural shots to to tomorrow afternoon/dusk, not far from home. Hoping that I can get those captured if the weather cooperates. Couldn't use my right arm/hand for anything until right now and I'm not supposed to lift anymore than 5 lbs with it for a week so we'll see. Sure don't want that artery they tapped into coming unglued after all of this.

Thanks for the link to the first one, Anthony. I already have the second one (bought while in nursing school). Even though I'm 20 years younger than you, I'm still going to invest in one.

Jim, take care of yourself and err on the side of caution. This is a time when doing nothing at all is the right thing to do. Back in November I had my own scare, woke up in the middle of the night sweating, heart racing, a bit light headed. So what did I do? Drove myself to the ER. Yeah, I'm an idiot. Not a heart attack thank God, but a bad arrhythmia. After 30 days on a heart monitor and another month of trying different things, we finally found the right med combination to keep it under control. Heart problems are nothing to play at!

Right you are Erich, I will. I know it's dumb, but calling an ambulance just seems like an admission that there's some really bad stuff going on (see I said I know it's dumb), besides, I figured Sheila could get me to the Baylor ER in less time than all the ambulance rigamarole. And yes, it would have been a bit of a problem if my heart had stopped enroute.

Damn...Snowbirds just passed through my area last monday

had some unreal thermals to shoot through, every where, when they flew high or, when they were landing

canada is running out of planes, our f-18's are breaking down and last i heard we only received 2 of the used ones bought from australia...a snowbird crashed last fall at a show in Georgia, now this

but i did find a new spot to shoot from, pretty near the end of the runway so i caught their departures after their fuel stop, they flew out right over my head

Thank you all, I appreciate you, but you know that. Didn't mean to drop a nuke before but I have had more wires hooked up to me than a Triple 7 for the last four days and the only sleep I could get was between the dogged attempts to drain my veins dry. I'm home now and so very glad to be.

The week has been a bit of a challenge for me but fortunately not for my Creator. And Nick, I promise you I have been and I will, thank you. Spent Monday pulling everything out of the hangar and polishing

i had a heart attack back in 2016, i had MAJOR sweats like i was sitting in a sauna, but minor chest pains, was debating on riding it out when it started as i had no clue if it was something just in my head, but i finally called the ambulance after a few minutes, once they arrived and i got in the ambulance, they did an ecg and determined i indeed was having a heart attack, on the way to emerg, i asked the medics if we could run through a mcdonalds for a cheeseburger on the way, with the lights and siren on, it should be a quick drive thru...sadly no

had a stint put in, after a few days in icu i went home, i was told not to do anything stressful for a few weeks, and that house cleaning was extremely stressful, after a couple days at home i thought how stressful can it be to just pull a vacuum cleaner around...but wow, i found out but least the house was vaccumed

glad to hear you'll be good to go soon Jim

I flew down to San Antonio, TX yesterday to photograph a Citation jet that is for sale. When I got done, the employee at the FBO who was helping me, took me over on the tug and I got a closer look at this DC-10. It is now owned by Omega Air, and they are a private contractor, doing air to air refueling for our nation's military. This DC-10 came from the Netherland Air Force, and I also know in the past, that Omega had a B-707 tanker.

I know, I know, the fence in front of it ruins it, but it still is pretty impressive to see a "privately owned" DC-10 tanker.

My condolence to our Canadian ally. I watched the Snow Birds 3 or 4 times. Great team and great folks.

Last week Ms. Joyce Lin from Maryland, known by some folks from our church, crashed and died in a remote area in Indonesia, delivering COVID-19 medical stuff to villager. She got two engineering degrees from MIT and was a USAF pilot before she decided to serve the Lord on mission trips.
