Another one from the Vault great year 2012 with variable weather 30 degrees one day almost freezing the next Luckily I had packed my winter gear but in splendid company with Jay Steve Jim and a whole lot of other like minded people at Alliance Texas
This thread has gone to the cats huh?
We currently only one have one "boss" in the house, a street rescue from 14 years ago...she's an odd critter, but aren't they all a bit weird..
Another from the files and again a Super Hornet shuffling some coals on the fire this time from VFA122 Flying Eagles from 2012 Fairford off Base at Rhymes Farm.
Wonderful images! Did you notice the intermittent "shudder" throughout "Lope's Hope"? I'm having lunch with Scott to catch up and one of the things on the list is cinematic gremlins. That is the every same syndrome I experienced with the Pitt's Model 12. I think mine was due to airflow over the camera and extended OLED viewfinder, not sure where Scott's originated but it definitely has the markings of a CMOS sensor effect. The only cinema camera not vulnerable to the effect is Sony's F-55, due to it's mechanical shutter. Funny, the F-55 is rather long in the tooth technologically speaking, but it has no equal at any price in the shutter department. I have been holding off hoping Sony would release a sequel, and they just did, but they left out the mechanical shuttered raised the price ten grand. I think I'm going with the F-55.
Ok Guys and Gals, this is hot off the press, get your reservations in as early as you can so you can assure hotel accommodations and the best symposium rate.
"Brown" just dropped off my new Kenyon 8x8 kit, and my stabilizer rig should be ready by the end of the week. Now I need some blue water and palm trees because it sure isn't fit weather for anything air to air here in The Lone Star. 19 degrees this morning as I set up my tripod...........is Al Gore speaking somewhere around here?

JW In 2000 experts sternly announced children in Britain would grow up never seeing snow. I've never been sure how to respond to pronouncements like that --- should we clap our hands like in Peter Pan to show our belief in Tinkerbell ... or click our heels together to head back to Kansas with Dorothy?
I hear you Chuck! Given his dire sea level predictions, one might wonder why Al just spent millions on ocean front property? It's all a headscratcher for a simple photographer such as myself.
In 2017 I only attended one airshow, the one in Sion, Switzerland. It was the worst organized airshow I've ever seen in Switzerland and the whole experience was quite frustrating. Only after a few months I've got the motivation to look back at the pictures. Not that much quality stuff, but I am happy about a couple shots.
