Thanks! It's a blur, 1400 miles and a very challenging assignment from 5am Monday to 8pm Tuesday, it was something.
Are you flying commercial Jim?
I have seen a very increased amount of air traffic in my area. Military and otherwise.

Another playoff game, another stadium (New Baunfels, TX). I was standing at the back of the end zone with the play beginning at the 35 yard line. Quarterback threw the pass to the receiver who first touched it at the 2 yard line and pulled it in over his shoulder at the goal line. When I saw the pass headed my way I backed up another five yards to capture the grab. The players are backlit from the 15 yard line to the end zone.
This shoot in Alabama was a little unusual, I drove. Couldn't take a chance on my flight being cancelled and I didn't think that I could schlep my gear that many times given what my back was doing at the time.
Speaking of McCalla Alabama, I just got a call from the developer, he wants me to go back after they do a couple of modifications to that building, and he's about to start another project right next to it. Good news, and it's relatively easy to get in and out of there. Maybe Joe and I will get to have lunch soon after all.

You just let me know and we will certainly make that happen.

I read somewhere that an organization (forgot the name) here in the US just bought an F-4, rumor has it that it may be flying in airshows next year...
Is this what you are referencing Douglas? Looks like they are buying a whole squadron of F-4s.
Starfighters International (a Kennedy Space Center-based company), is in the process of acquiring twelve ex-Republic of Korea Air Force F-4 Phantoms as of May 2025 for FAA registration and potential private operations, though their primary focus is research and space launches rather than airshows.

My eyes missed your car Jim!
