Another project for my B-25 shoot coming up in the next week or two...
I am in Reno Bill! I probably could have made this a "long weekend" as all my "reunions" are on Sunday.
Your "challenge coins" are a HUGE hit! I had a few of the nice plastic display cases from your last "batch" and gave those to a very selective few! They had tears in their eyes!
The last living member of my unit Ranger team passed away last year unbeknownst to me. I am the last of the dinosauers! Now THAT makes me feel olde! Not happy either!
Reno is having a parade, Saturday, for the 250th B'day of the US Army! I am happy about that and we, 1st Cavalry Division and "H" Co-75th Rangers-walking Honor Guard, will be supplying a mounted "Honor Guard" in that parade.
Now to speak to your B-25 challenge coins..a life long childhood friend, Navy Vietnam vet on the USS New Jersey, his father was a bombadeer on 1 of the B-25's in Mitchell's unit, 17th Bombardment Group . All volunteers from different B-25 units in the S. Pacific!
Fantastic challenge coins they be brother! You are INDEED a patriot! As ALL members are here on MA2A! Wheteher one served or not! And from ANY Country!
Garryowen!

Been EXTREMELY busy, moving from the DFW area to Lubbock, but I am NOT complaining. My wife and I are so happy to be back "home", we do NOT miss the traffic, the noise, the constant busyness that the Metromess brings to everyone's life. To be able to get to anywhere in the city within 20 to 25 minutes, is a blessing in and of itself; plus, we have friends who already live here, and are already plugged into a local church. Life is good!
Here's a Global Express I recently photographed, this is the second aircraft I've photographed for this family. They previously had a Gulfstream and replaced it with this. If I'm not mistaken, I think they are getting a Global Express 7500 and upgrading.
So much gorgeous imagery in there, and so many wonderful memories. Thanks, Jim.
I really miss both photography and aviation. I've been away from both for several years now and the current chapter of my life doesn't really hold either of them, but I'm starting to spend a leeeeetle more time with a camera now and hope to get back into flying over the next few years. I love the life I have, but I do miss those two.
Just wrote to ISAP to reactivate my membership, if only to support the organization.

I can relate to your predicament Rodolfo! I have become a caregiver. Luckily, most of my time, when at home is , in the same room as my beloved.
Drop by when you can...let us know "whatz up" and take care of business!
Stay safe!

I'm going to have an opportunity to play with the R1 for a few days. I'm doing it out of mild curiosity, the R5II is such a beast that I don't really see what the R1 could bring to the table, 40 frames a second instead of 30? The focusing system is supposed to be a hair faster and more accurate, but there is that 50mp v 24 that is the elephant in the room.
That's why the Sony A9III doesn't have a lot of appeal to me, global shutter, 120 FPS but 24 MP. I am sure the 120 FPS will help me nail the perfect opposing passes though.
Had a gout attack Thursday, still dragged my a$$ to watch the rehearsal in Ocean City, MD yesterday afternoon. It was a struggle to walk the 1/4 mile from the parking to the beach, walking the 200' on the beach was killing me. Horrible weather, when the BA flew it started to rain, they cut the rehearsal short. The reward was some of the most insane vapors I have ever seen, the cone was so large during the sneak pass above the water that one on the beach might have needed 100mm focal length to capture the whole thing. My desktop PC is in the shop. Will post some pix when I get the PC back.

Indeed !! And God Bless all of you who answered the call!
I am in Reno Jim for my 75th Ranger "H" Co LRRP 77th reunion!!
I will reply later when I calm down and get my rage under control! The hotel the 1CDA stayed in and held our reunion in was over run with "protesters and activists"! It was by coincidence. The streets of Reno were filled with morons!
They even tore down the placards showing the veterans where our events were being held!
