I have some cool plans for this perspective...............I see it at dusk with some cirrus in the sky at last light. The location requires DFW Airport coordination but I'm finding them easier and easier to work with.
Jim,
they should be taking these amazing images and hanging them all over the airport. As for those intrepid lads, looks like handholding the 600 is a piece of cake

Brandt is a huge supplier of agri equipment around here Jim!
We often only think of John Deere, International or McCormick ....as building vehicles for farming. Not so..Brandt has a huge footprint for many diverse products all over the World. A family owned and run company!
Dan Nehmer may see some of their "blue" harvesters in the corn/soy fields of Iowa!

Thanks Gero! Chandler did say that his arms were getting a bit shaky by the end of the day We got together last night and went through all of their images, fun evening. Weston is getting bit by the photography bug and they were both asking when we could have a repeat day, gotta love that.
Got an interesting bit of information this morning. One of my very good clients, and a close friend is on the short list for FAA Administrator, could be a very interesting development.

Jim, I know how you feel. My daughter is a photography minor in college, and when she discovered I had a 100-400 to put on her 5Dii in New Zealand on our way back from her semester abroad in Oz, I almost lost the lens Very little that is more satisfying than watching such a passion develop.

Not likely that I see Blue DanPB, I'm pretty color blind and can only see JD Green! At least that is what the paycheck says.

...I hear ya! I have only seen 2 here in the Fall or Spring and they are contracted harvesters that travel from farm to farm to get crops harvested!

Our weather has been up and down, lot's of wind. Combine that with all the things that are vying for my attention and all of a sudden one realizes that it's been a while since the Cub and I have escaped into the sky. I took a RAID array out to HQ a little while ago and noticed that the winds had died off to a few knots, visibility was pretty crummy due to a warm front that has stalled over us, but I couldn't resist warming up the Cub. We launched off and played in the pattern for a little bit, several other planes joined us and the vis was poor enough that I'd lose sight of them on and off. The tower was being pretty vigilant in calling out our positions and spacing, but given the number of aircraft that have been losing the gravity battle lately, I thought discretion was the better part of valor and we wrapped it up with a squeaker. I was thinking about flying on the way home, it really is difficult to adequately describe what it means to me, what even a short hop does to my soul, it has taught me so much over the years, it's a gift that I am ever so grateful for.

Thinking about selling the 180 and Luscombe. I've had them for a long time but I'm not using them much anymore. But, all the memories. Been all over Canada, Caribbean, and 44 States at last count in 2300 hrs. I keep them, like I do old cameras.
