No big head Bill, I know where all this comes from and it is by Grace alone. One thing that I have realized is, I need to get back out there and shoot more aviation stock. I've got a couple of pretty unique military opportunities on the horizon and I'd like to shoot as many dusk air shows as my schedule will allow. Going to have an opportunity to load up some west coast Super Hornet cockpits with GoPro's and 360 cameras which could be pretty cool. May have a cool shoot at El Centro next month.
The other day when I was migrating stock to a new RAID Array I noticed that I have 1.6 million aviation stock shots, and that doesn't include video. I used to plan on updating my storage about every twelve months, but with the larger files and all the video that I'm capturing, that interval is getting shorter and shorter.

Oh I was just razzing you Jim, you know that...We love your work and those pictures look so nice.
Got a few military shoots as well coming up and at least one, maybe two tanker rides...Gonna be a blast.
Be curious to see how air shows will be or go this year, hopefully all out.
Okay, the Weather Gods have lost their minds! Our local weatherman just shared the latest stats for Snow Fall in Waterloo Iowa for the winter of 24-25: We have had 4 1/2" of snow
AND HE SAID NEW ORLEANS HAS / IS GETTING 9"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought last year was weird with little to no snow in the Midwest, but this year it's fully off the rails when the Gulf Coast is getting more snow than us.
What are ya going to do, we'll just keep on keeping on and see where this craziness takes us next.

BEAUTIFUL JIM...Wish I were there to go thru them with you...Don't get too big a head now,

I've got an 8' x 20' wall/print job coming up and some other goodies in the works over the next 6 months or so...Gonna be fun.
Plus some drone footage as well.
Bill, out of curiosity, when you do a job like that, do you do it from one image or do you take a series in portrait mode and merge them into a panorama. That's big!

Not sure yet as I have never done one that big, but I'll figure it out. Will be working with the print shop next week and doing some pictures and go from there. I have a print shop in town as well that does wall prints that are more than double that size and they look great. This one will be on an outside cement wall at the coast and will probably only last 3-4 years and have to be redone again. Once the picture is up we will probably do an old barn wood frame around it, lag bolted to the wall, those can come out easily in a few years for a reinstall. The picture will be a rock in the ocean, a view from the beach looking up at the condos and some words all along the top and possibly one more thing. So yes, will be 3-4 pictures. Topaz has a gigipixel program that's fairly new, haven't tried it but I did have their regular version for photo editing but got a refund back because it didn't work for me. I might have to hit up the billboard sign makers...

JR and JIII are on Crystal Beach at the beach house, it's snowing/icing and blowing.Just clear and colder than Billy Hell in the DFW Metroplex. I'm like the post office (used to be), snow, sleet, dark of night, I keep on shooting.
I love the paint scheme on these Jim!!!!
Super composition!

Ok - so it will be a combination of images and not a single image. There are some amazing features along the Oregon coast that would be befitting of a single image. A beautiful place indeed. Please share a picture of the final installation.

Will do, and yes, the Oregon Coast is a very popular drive. Owner wants 2-3 pixs on wall so that's what he gets, it will look great. Of course if I have any problems I'll be picking all the brains here, Jim for starters...
.
He also bought the property across the street and is working on those to open this summer so I'll be doing pixs for that as well and probably some drone action.

Ok...Maybe Nesika Beach area, pretty sparse after that.
Only big rocks are a ways out of Gold Beach and good fishing.
