Every once in a while the planets align and I get great conditions for a feature shot. This morning, the sun was low (dawn) and the football stadium lights were still on (7 a.m.). He just came off the field with sweat...and what a look he gave the camera...
Had a P8 in here Monday, 2 F-18's yesterday with a DC-10 Re-fueler, Boeing had their T-38 up here, Troy was really nice to meet and the 2 F-18's from Whidbey again today...What a week...Air Show this weekend too...
No airshow for me until Sept 21/22 in Oceana, Va. It will be my last one this year. I have already prepared a preliminary list for 2025, based on the published schedules. The deciding factors for me are mainly the lineup and the distance from where I live. A vast majority of the shows I have gone to were day trips, 50-350 miles one way kind of distance. There are usually 7-10 shows that fit in this category in or "near' Maryland every year. Unless it's really something special and I can combine it with a business trip, I don't usually do overnight trips for airshows.

Shouldn't Boeing be figuring out how to get the rockets to work to get those 2 Astronauts back? Like Gilligan's Island, they went up for an 8 day tour, been there a couple months, might be there till February...

I hear ya and certainly a test of all kinds going on that wasn't planned.
If I get up to Boeing this weekend in Seattle I'll ask them.

Or we can pretend like the other half of the world and believe we never went to the moon or space...

I'm sure they are very anxious to get home tho and I believe they will get them home eventually but there must be some pretty big issues with something and they can't screw up getting them back home safe.
.
But I really can't tell you that this jet was going to fly up and get them...
