No airshow for me until Sept 21/22 in Oceana, Va. It will be my last one this year. I have already prepared a preliminary list for 2025, based on the published schedules. The deciding factors for me are mainly the lineup and the distance from where I live. A vast majority of the shows I have gone to were day trips, 50-350 miles one way kind of distance. There are usually 7-10 shows that fit in this category in or "near' Maryland every year. Unless it's really something special and I can combine it with a business trip, I don't usually do overnight trips for airshows.
It will be a long wait after the Oceana show..
