Saw the Team Penske jet make a pit stop from CLT to Chino, CA.
CRJ-200.
Saw one of the Penske boys crash at the Kink at Road America yesterday. Scary moment. Those familiar with Road America know that the Kink is not a place that rewards 180mph excursions onto the grass.

As an Asian American in Maryland ,I can’t say I am proud of that. just give me more Asian doctors and engineers, not this mentally ill bullshxt. But there is your trend.
Douglas,
respectfully, why does this type of post have to be injected into this thread? Let's keep the eye on the images we share and keep the politics and intolerance to ourselves.
My good friend Odie got married this weekend, a couple of weeks ago he called me up and told me "we have decided that you are going to be our wedding photographer" Come on down!
Yikes! That's not my bag man...
Luckily, they are both humble down-to-earth people and have both been married before and were having a simple wedding in her mom's backyard...so I didn't have to be too fancy or anything..whew!
So here's the result of my efforts...Don't know if I'll ever do this again...but... critiques? Sugestions?

Don't go there, man. Do not even think of going there. Keep your obfuscations and lies to yourself.
Yes Zane, the obfuscations, lies, and burning the country down are only allowed from the left, when the agenda needs to be pushed forward, the rest of us should do what we are told, sit quietly in our 400sq ft cubicles, masked up, vaccinated, driving battery powered roller skates and eating bugs.
Remember the days when you could meet someone and just enjoy them? You didn't even think of where they stood politically, had no idea what their income was, everyone was just a person, you enjoyed them, or you didn't, based on your perception of who they were. Those were great days, and, unfortunately, way in the rear view mirror.
Great shots from the airport Bill! So glad to see you enjoy your gear. You have had some tough years and this is great therapy for you, good on you Bud! I must have missed it, are you migrating to Sony? I have to admit, when I see Douglas posting his work, Sony does pop into my mind, but then I realize that's the old fallacy of gear makes the image.........Douglas could shoot those shots with a shoe box pinhole camera...............
Mike B. will get a kick out of this. One of my clients, a great guy, was trying to get some drone footage on his project last week. He has a DJI Air2 I think. He thought that he could get away with capturing some video of the interior of a big logistics center that he is building, and he did, for a minute. The drone launched ok, then it caught sight of a couple of satellites and realized it was where it wasn't authorized to be and promptly executed a hasty landing. Unfortunately the landing path included construction rubble and some very solid objects, turning the Air2 into an Air 5 or 6.
My opinion is the US 24/7 media created a political system that is part theatrical, part sports. We watch politicians on TV giving their best thespian efforts in front of cameras and microphones. The media constantly reports on how much money politicians have raised for their team. Due to the media, politicians are like 10th graders who have a goal of getting the lead role in their senior play, or trying to make the varsity team. How do you get to the lead role? You have the most time in front of cameras and microphones. How do you make the varsity team? You find the path to raising the most money for your team. Thinking about making life better for average Americans? That's a fools game.
Those of you who are GoPro aficionados, I'm not all that impressed with the Hero 12 Black at this point. Image quality seems to be a step back from the Hero 11 for some reason, I'm checking settings, but I believe that I have it programmed for the highest quality capture. I have a shoot coming up with a noted airshow performer, Planning on using the GoPro's, but I ordered an Insta360x4 set up just to hedge my bets. Should be some interesting perspectives from the assignment.

Thanks Jim,
Yes, Sony a7RV and a Sony 200-600 will be here Friday and I'll go from there.
Will probably keep the R5 with the 300 for now but next will be the Sony 300 if I can swing it.
Sold a few items already and might have a few more sold.

I'm a few months of 60 Jim but I remember those days and miss them dearly. Men were men and helped each other out no matter what, now they just soon rob ya or kill ya or get in a fight, so sad. Neighbors can't even get a long and no one is respectful anymore. A lot simpler days as well compared to now.

I look forward to seeing what you do with your new gear, and how you like it!

Wish I had it for this weekend but the R5 did well.
Shooting gliders this weekend for the Glider Regional Competition, but I don't think I will have the new one in time for that either.

I remember the days when people were educated enough to use logic and to apply a sense of morality to their politics. Now one of the major parties by policy lies to it's supporters, who lap up the lies with gusto because reality is too difficult a concept to understand and accept. And then, of course, they lie about lying to themselves. Heckuva way of life. Reality is there for everyone to grasp, but there are those who simply can't handle the truth.
I won't debate any of this because I stopped arguing at a junior high school level after leaving junior high.Your comment about bugs reveals you to be a subscriber to one of the stupidist, most assinine theories perpetrated by the brain dead right. My gawd, man, you are obviously of high intelligence and knowledge -- you should hang your head in shame.
Trump and his zombie army have brought the nation to the edge of the abyss. But the creation of a Fourth Reich might not be as easy as they think. They will encounter resistance. And that reminds me that it's time to go to the range. I recently became a gun owner for the first time in my life: an M-14 and a short barrel, short stock 12-gauge. I haven't fired a weapon since 1969, but that one belonged to Uncle Sam, so it's time to regain proficiency with the new home arsenal. Never know when I might have to defend a Constitution.
